Finance Committee

The Finance Committee, referred to as "Finance"; is

responsible for the oversight and review of the church's financial activities. This committee examines both the monthly and year-to-date financial activities and balance reports, to ensure fiscal

responsibility and transparency.

Each year, the Finance Committee develops a proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year. This budget is submitted to the Session for final approval, supporting the church's financial planning

and governance process.

The committee typically is composed of seven church members. The Chair of Finance is a current ruling Elder, providing experienced leadership and continuity. In addition to the primary members, several individuals serve as ex-officio members: the

Church Treasurer, the Chair of the Investment Sub-Committee, and the Pastor.

Finance Investment Sub-Committee

The Finance Investment Sub-Committee plays a key role in overseeing the church's investment accounts. This sub-committee consists of four individuals: the Chair of Investment, the Chair of Finance, an additional member from the Finance Committee, and the Church Treasurer. The sub-committee meets regularly to monitor and evaluate the performance of investment accounts.

The Chair of the Investment Sub-Committee is responsible for presenting the performance of the investment accounts on a quarterly basis, ensuring that the Finance Committee and the Session are well-informed about the church's investment status.
