Shower Ministry

One of the ways God is calling our congregation is to provide showers for those in our community who are experiencing housing insecurity. The dignity of taking a shower and being rejuvenated is something we provide to the community on Friday Mornings.

Each Friday morning, FPC Shower Ministry program welcomes guests from the community who do not have access to warm showers. Primarily, we serve the homeless population in our area. Along with private showers, we offer our guests all necessary hygiene products, bath linens, clean gently used clothes, new socks and underwear, fresh coffee, breakfast, fellowship, and a snack bag upon departure. Northlake Homeless Coalition partners with us by providing a staff member assess needs and direct guests to services. If guests wish, our volunteers pray with them. We gratefully work with other churches, businesses and individuals to facilitate this ministry. Questions? Interested in joining us?
